Preparation for medical school is quite a journey with many adventures and checkpoints and unexpected joys and setbacks. We at Truman State want to make this journey as pleasant and positive and productive as we can. For each student the journey will differ and for some it will take longer or occur quicker. First and foremost, we recommend that you partner with a faculty member who can serve as your pre-med advisor. This person may also serve as your academic advisor, or he/she may be a second advisor. Your pre-med advisor will help you to assess and personalize your particular journey to medical school. If you would like additional information or to set up a personalized meeting, contact any of the pre-medical advisors specific to your discipline.
This site still needs work. Please let us know if you would like to see additional information and/or would like to advise us of errors or omissions on any of our pages.
